Feeling the call to sit with Wachuma and Ayahuasca (in separate ceremonies) is deeply personal and often an inner knowing that rises quietly within. In my journey (Lion) and through conversations with others who have embraced these ceremonies, a common thread emerges: they felt a clear and profound “calling” to explore the healing, wisdom, and insight that these plant teachers offer. This calling is something that resonates within the sacredness of your own heart—a decision that only you can make in alignment with your own spirit. Trust yourself, trust your heart.
Another important consideration is not only the ceremonies themselves but the environment and community that will support you on this path. Sacred Rhythms is intentionally crafted to create a safe and intimate space in the Sacred Valley of Peru, designed for a small group of participants. This setting allows for deeper connection to the ancestral roots of these ceremonies, honoring the Peruvian heritage that has carried this wisdom for generations. With a smaller group, we foster a close-knit environment, offering you the space to expand and explore with supportive and grounding energies.
While larger ceremonies with 30-50 people have their own beauty and power, they may bring a mix of energies that can sometimes feel overwhelming. At Sacred Rhythms, our small group approach is intentional—nurturing deep safety, connection, and a genuine sense of community. Here, you’ll find the space to truly be with yourself and with others on a shared journey, supported by those who are equally committed to their healing and transformation.
If you feel drawn to explore Wachuma and Ayahuasca within this sacred, supportive setting, listen to that call. It may be the right time for you to begin this transformative journey.
Why ‘Sacred Rhythms’?
The name is inspired by the hermetic principle of rhythm, one of the immutable laws of the universe.
‘Everything flows, out and in; everything has it’s tides; all things rise and fall; the pendulum swing manifests in everything’

JHON SIKURI
Spiritual Guide | Maestro of Master Plants, Ayahuasca and Wachuma | Musician | Teacher of Ancient Andean Tradition
Jhon comes from a lineage of Andean heritage, the community of San Pedro de Kacha. The mountainous regions around Cusco and the Sacred Valley are his homeland and his connection to its geography and community is strong within his heart. This interwoven community raised the ancestral traditions that have resonated with Jhon since his childhood, and became more profound when he identified parallels within the Taoist traditions which evolved his understanding of the natural systems that connect us above, below and throughout the universe. With these principles, Jhon experienced a rebirth of interconnected realisation and continues to encourage the roots of ancestral wisdom to ground him in the beautiful web of life.
A calling to Ayahuasca and the first connection into process confirmed his inner narrative. And through deep conversation with Mother Ayahuasca he has outwardly portrayed the need to share his confirmed wisdoms, and help others to share the beautiful connections that bind us to spirit. Jhon began learning about ceremony preparation and integration during service at an Integrative Medical Healing Clinic and he fostered the intention to support others through these profound experiences. Combining the traditional values of his childhood, respect of the Andean and Amazon lores and his continued commitment to learn and evolve, Jhon receives and readies guests into their transformative process with the master plants and is honoured to support his brothers and sisters into the beautiful realms that await those who receive the calling.
